A2 Pet Portrait (2 Pets) - Original Acrylic Painting on A2 (42x60cm) Size Canvas

A Portrait of Someone You Love

Turn your favourite photograph of your pets into a unique, hand-painted original artwork.

Each A2 Pet Portrait (42x60cm) is individually painted by me, Michelle Doughty, using acrylic paints on canvas. Rather than creating a photorealistic copy, I’ll capture your pets in my own painterly style, with visible brushwork, character and warmth.

Perfect for displaying on a shelf, mantelpiece or as part of a gallery wall, these paintings also make a wonderfully personal gift for someone who adores their pet.

Your commission includes:

• Two pets
• Head and shoulders portrait
• A2 canvas (42x60cm)
• Original hand-painted acrylic artwork
• Simple, softly painted background
• Painted from your supplied photograph
• Signed by Michelle Doughty

How it works

Upload your preferred pet photograph in the field provided above. Good natural lighting and a clear view of your pet's face will help me capture their individual features and character.

I will then create your portrait by hand in my signature painterly style.

Please remember that this is an original interpretation of your photograph rather than a photorealistic reproduction. Small variations and visible brushwork are part of what makes every portrait completely unique.

Your portrait will be finished with a complementary muted background chosen by the artist.

Please allow time for your portrait

As every portrait is individually painted by hand especially for you, please allow up to 6 weeks for your artwork to be created, followed by the usual delivery time.

If your portrait is intended for a special occasion, I recommend ordering as early as possible to allow plenty of time for painting and delivery.

Please note: Pet Portrait Commissions are currently available for UK delivery only.

Need something larger?

The A2 portrait is designed for a two pets and a relatively simple composition. If you would like a larger portrait, multiple pets or a more detailed scene, please see my other product listings or contact me to discuss a bespoke commission.

Every portrait is painted especially for you — a little original artwork celebrating a very special member of the family.
